The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Senior HR Adviser to join our national HR team based in our Perth office. This is a 12-month maximum term contract until May 2025.
You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic HR guidance and support to the firm's leadership and employees. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of our firm by implementing HR initiatives that align with our organisational goals and values.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
Coach and support stakeholders to build sustainable high-performing teams across the groups through talent management and development initiatives, with a focus on the engagement and retention of our people.
Act as the first point of contact for key stakeholders regarding employee relations.
Collaborate with teams to plan and deliver mechanisms aligning people with group goals and objectives, including talent, performance, and remuneration reviews.
Identify changes and improvements to HR policies and practices and ensure effective communication and implementation within each team.
Partner with firm leadership to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives and promote a positive work culture.
Collaborate with HR centres of excellence to ensure consistency in the employee experience.
Contribute to the implementation of initiatives for realising the firm's strategic plan (Ambition 2025).
To be successful in this role, you will:
Demonstrate experience gained as a generalist HR professional, including strong advisory, coaching, and facilitation skills and proven leadership capability.
Demonstrate strong internal stakeholder service focus, relationship management, and influencing skills, alongside proven commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all levels of the firm.
Experience gained in legal or professional services is desirable.
Experience using Workday is desirable.
