Position DetailsSocial Media AdviserTo be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience creating content and writing social media strategies, either within a corporate or government environment. You will have a strong news sense, experience in finding stories and turning ideas into content that can promote Victoria’s education system across a range of channels.You will be aware of both existing and emerging social media platforms. You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of social media, and the risks and opportunities that come with managing social media channels for a large organisation.Your ability to work independently and within project teams is essential, as are strong and clear writing skills.Your capacity to build strong relationships and to work effectively with, and across, teams to help drive a culture of high-performance is essential.Good organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are also required.Experience with social media monitoring platforms such as Hootsuite is desirable, as is experience in photography and/or video production. Basic design skills and experience with Adobe software such as Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.This role may sometimes include some work outside business hours.
