Reporting into the Head of Commercial Ad Technology, you will play an important role in the management of ad technologies for the largest digital media publisher in Australia.

The Commercial Ad Technology team is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of ad technologies for both News Corp Australia’s owned and operated as well as our off-network performance activity. Working with stakeholders both internal and external to deliver solutions that drive profitable revenue growth while maintaining the best user experience and outcomes for customers.

**What’s the role?**

+ Investigate and resolve technical issues within our advertising ecosystem using a variety of tools and knowledge sources.

+ Support the Ad Operations, Programmatic and Performance teams in the successful delivery of paid advertising activity.

+ Development, onboarding and/or testing of new products and technologies in collaboration with key stakeholders. This can be either hands-on coding of new products and solutions, providing subject matter consultation to stakeholder groups, or onboarding new vendors.

+ Monitor the health of our advertising ecosystem using a variety of reporting tools and data sources.

+ Use a combination of data, best practices, and innovative thinking to identify optimisations to our advertising ecosystem and the processes within.

+ Provide thought leadership and education on matters relating to ad technology and its surrounding ecosystem.

+ Key stakeholder groups include Ad Ops, Ad Product, Pricing, Programmatic, Performance Marketing, internal stakeholders across the entire business, and external vendors.

**Who you are?**

+ Demonstrated extensive experience in media, including various disciplines such as Ad Operations, Ad Tech, Programmatic, Performance Marketing, or web development.

+ Experience and/or familiarity with technologies such as Ad Servers (Google Ad Manager), SSP’s (Xandr, Magnite), DMPs (Adobe), and Viewability/Verification (IAS).

+ Sound understanding and knowledge of technical troubleshooting processes in a digital environment.

+ Project management experience, with familiarity in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

+ Experience working with front-end coding languages HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

+ Experience with data processing and back-end coding languages is an advantage.

+ Have the ability to understand and deconstruct complex technical problems, then communicate them effectively to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical understanding.

+ Up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies (e.g supply chain transparency, user privacy regulations, and the deprecation of third-party cookies).

+ Able to maintain high levels of accuracy, communication and quality when under pressure.
