The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

In this Cloud Solution Architect role you’ll be working with our exciting ISV partners.  You'll be guiding ISVs through the discovery and envisioning process, helping them rapidly prototype solutions as well as planning technical implementations.   You'll have a strong understanding of the AI landscape including experience with current tools and technologies. A hands on background in software development will be important.  This opportunity will allow you to work with the latest Microsoft AI technologies with partners who are creating industry leading solutions.   

Through our partners, Microsoft creates solutions which help companies empower their employees, engage their customers, optimize their operations, and transform their products. This opportunity will allow you to focus on Microsoft’s technology priorities and drive penetration of Cloud Solution Area workloads with our most significant partners. You will provide deep technical coaching aiding partners to develop impactful solutions and services for our customers. Leveraging your experience you will validate partners’ technology architecture, assist them to overcome technical blockers, and aid them to win early customers, and realize consumption and usage results from their solutions and services.

Responsibilities

Partner Enablement and Execution

  • Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills
  • Technical Engagement: Lead deep technical engagements, including; Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons
  • Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing
  • Solution Development: Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies
  • Evangelism: Evangelize partners’ practices and solutions in customers’ implementations via Technical briefings and Architecture Review Sessions
  • Tech Sales: Enable partners on technical pre-sales skills while supporting initial partners’ wins and work to unblock technical issues.
