RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily accounting tasks including billing, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliation.
  • Handle management accounting duties such as revenue recognition and bad debt accounts.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of the loan book and analyze exception reports.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting materials.
  • Assist in audits by preparing work papers, responding to queries, and drafting financial statements.
  • Conduct data analysis and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence.
  • Build relationships with vendors and collaborate with other departments.
  • Support cash flow management, budgeting, and funding activities.
  • Develop and document accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and prepare tax returns.
  • Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering positive relationships internally and externally.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA/CA qualification.
  • Strong financial accounting skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle high-volume data.
  • SQL skills are highly regarded and advantageous.
