About the Role:

WorkPac on behalf of our leading mining client we are seeking an experienced Cost Control professional to join the Brisbane based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost control activities including commitment management, invoice processing, and forecasting for assigned projects

  • Raise purchase requisitions and process invoices

  • Collaborate with Project Leaders to confirm commitment scope and validate payment substantiation

  • Ensure estimate and schedule compliance aligns with cash flow forecasts in coordination with Project Leaders

  • Develop SAP Work Breakdown Structures, project control accounts and budgets

  • Generate accurate reports incorporating cost control curves as required

  • Monitor project variations, manage Final Forecast Control, and implement risk mitigation strategies

Key Requirements:

  • Requirements: Minimum 3 years of cost control experience in a project's portfolio environment (preferably mining but not a must)

  • Tertiary education preferred

  • Tools: PRISM and SAP (preferably Powerbi but not a must)
