Your Position:

THIS IS A 12 MONTH MATERNITY LEAVE CONTRACT

MAJOR PURPOSE:

The Dealer Business Analyst provides functional support for John Deere IT based dealer tools and applications in Au/NZ by working closely with Region 4 Dealer Development resources, Global Dealer Solutions and other JDL Departments and Field Teams to help support, develop and continuously improve our Dealer Channel. Provides functional support for John Deere dealer tools and applications in AU/NZ and seeks opportunity to enhance services.

MAJOR DUTIES:

+ Provides customer service to John Deere dealers for multiple integrated application components which may include many of the following components: parts, service, sales, financial, HR, or Admin software. The service may include configuration, installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution or training.

+ Provides customer service and support to internal John Deere stakeholders

+ Provides timely communication and supporting documentation for defect and enhancement releases including new or existing applications, to both the dealer network and internal staff as required.

+ Develops training content and materials for either the dealer, customer or employee audiences and may deliver training as needed.

+ Participates in local and global teams and be an ambassador for Au/NZ dealers.

+ Stays current with system enhancements, offers suggestions for improvements and seeks opportunities to help implement new functionality to enable business goals and achieve business results in the application environment.

+ Evaluates and tests new and existing applications for quality and readiness for the dealer market.

+ Reviews & maintains where appropriate customer and dealer data with an intention to inspect quality, accuracy & integrity of data. Will ensure applications and data entry personnel are equipped with quality tools and functionality to enable the above. Provide training and guidance and ensures data collection systems comply with local, international, and/or John Deere standards (privacy and legal).

+ Other duties as directed to support business and departmental objectives

Technical Skills & Knowledge: Specialised skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.

+ Understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development. – Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

+ Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints. – Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

+ Ability to analyse, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions. – Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

+ Capable of collaborating with business leaders to provide information technology solutions. – Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

+ Skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, supplier management relations and conflict resolution. – Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

+ Knowledge of a limited set of business processes of assigned area(s) and/or function(s). – Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

Relevant work experiences: Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function, organization, industry or product line.

+ Experience working in customer service or related customer-oriented environment. – 1 – 3 years

+ Implementation of major software programs which involve change in process. – 1 – 3 years

+ Information technology experience and/or business experience. – 1 – 3 years

+ Work experience in a team environment. – 1 – 3 years
