About our Client
Our client is one of Australia's biggest supplier of fresh food and homewares. They are part of a global business with manufacturing facilities in multiple countries.
About the Role
This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is an integral role contributing to the success of the division. Key stakeholders will include teams from production, transport and logistics, and external suppliers.
Your new role will cover the following responsibilities:
•Manage efficient flow of correspondence and information with internal and external parties in regards to stock availability;
•Proactive engagement with suppliers to improve agreed KPIs;
•Identify opportunities for improved supply chain performance;
•Engage supplier for demand planning;
•Support the product Phase-In and Phase-Out strategies in line with business strategy;
•Communicate supply impact to wider business and develop improvement plan;
•Work in accordance with the principles of the ALDI Management System.
What you will need to be successful
•Excellent communication skill with the ability to influence;
•Ability to manage competing priorities;
•Analytical mindset for problem solving and root cause analysis;
•Experience of working with supplier to improve performance
•Great presentation skills in front of internal and external stakeholders
•Demand and supply planning experiences will be highly regarded
•SAP experience highly desirable
