The ANZ Tax team is part of the Asia ex-Japan (“AEJ”) Tax team and undertakes a variety of activities including tax compliance work, managing tax audits, reviewing products and trades, establishing and monitoring transfer pricing policies, managing tax risk and assisting in the establishment of new business lines/ventures. We also assist in the structuring of proprietary investments by the firm as well as providing advice across the firm on tax related matters. The AEJ tax team has members throughout the Asia Pacific region. We work collaboratively within the region, and also with our colleagues in Europe and the US on a day to day basis. In this role, you will gain exposure to a broad range of tax issues, some of which have global impact, and also have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of financial markets and the investment banking world.
