In FAAS we work with our clients’ finance teams and wider organisation to provide practical, hands-on support and solutions relating to accounting, financial reporting and financial control in times of change or challenge. In addition, we participate in major transactions, offering deal structuring, financial due diligence and post-transaction support services, as well as a wide range of other services to support finance teams achieve their objectives and manage financial reporting risk.
As a Manager within our FAAS – IFRS Services team you will work with other International Financial Reporting Standards specialists to provide accounting and financial reporting technical solutions to our diverse base of clients. We focus on delivering a broad base of technical and industry expertise for clients.
**Your key responsibilities**
+ Provide commercially minded solutions to problems based on your deep technical knowledge
+ Showcase your skills by working on various types of transactions and service offerings
+ Expand your technical and commercial expertise on all topic areas while further strengthening your selected specialised topic area(s)
+ Work on challenging work assignments with a diverse base of clients which will further enhance your variety of experience
+ Network to become a sought after advisor who can speak with business acumen
**To qualify for the role you must have**
+ A degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
+ CA designation (or equivalent)
+ Thorough knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS)
+ Experience with analysing complex accounting issues and providing solutions in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and legislation
+ Excellent project management skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Impeccable client relationship skills
+ A dedication to teamwork and leadership
+ Highly adaptable and open to change
+ Integrity within a professional environment
+ The ability to work autonomously in an unstructured environment
