Due to our involvement in a number of new projects and studies, we are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our Brisbane based team to support a keynote base metals project.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager , the successful applicant will be responsible for producing proficient and accurate design outputs that are fit for purpose and in alignment with Project and Study requirements.

The tasks you'll perform

• Providing proficient and accurate design input for the production of mechanical drawings.
• Perform accurate engineering designs and calculations.
• Developing and monitoring the production of designs in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
• Assist with tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of mechanical equipment from vendors where necessary.

The expertise you'll bring

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience interfacing with Clients, vendors, co-workers and other stakeholders.
• 3-5 years experience working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects. On-site experience will be considered favourably.
• High attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Proven time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
