Do what you love, love where you do it.
Various locations in Central Queensland
CQ Health is seeking motivative professionals to join our midwifery services. A career with CQ Health offers exceptional opportunities for both personal and professional advancement.
From our regional Hub at Rockhampton Hospital to our rural facilities including Gladstone, Emerald and Biloela, we can offer you:

* top remuneration packages matched to your experience
* supportive workplaces to build your career
* free onsite parking at most workplaces
* remote area nursing incentive packages for eligible roles
* generous leave loading and shift work penalty rates
* up to 12.75 per cent employer superannuation contribution.

There are many advantages to working and living in these locations; you won’t be stuck in traffic for 40 mins on the morning commute, and you will make genuine connections with the local community.
Depending on the role, you may be managing a case load within a midwifery group practice or providing services under an acute care multidisciplinary model of care with options for rotating across birth suite, ante and post-natal care.
We are looking for midwives who are confident in their abilities across the scope of midwifery practice and as a result will likely have at least two years’ experience.  This experience will potentially be a different one for you.  It will of course have its ups and downs, however feedback from our midwives who work in our Facilities say it is highly rewarding and an excellent way to develop your career.
