Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of human and/or material resources, and to support effective business practices for:

Taking a lead role across Nursing and Midwifery (NM) Metro North Hospital and Health Service to develop the capacity and capability of recruitment and placement portfolio holders, nurse managers, line managers and other NM colleagues in respect to professional nursing, management, budget, human resource management recruitment, retention, visa requirements, rostering and workforce planning skills across the HHS.

Fostering engagement and providing operational co-ordination and expert guidance to facilities/directorates, groups and individuals across a range of portfolios which include but are not limited to management, budget, human resource management recruitment, retention, visa requirements, and workforce planning expertise across MNHHS.

 Designing new recruitment and retention strategies while fostering innovation and other support initiatives across the HHS to assist in positioning NM MNHHS as an employer of choice.

Demonstrating management expertise, overseeing development, monitoring and evaluation of resources, systems and processes as relevant across NM MNHHS aligned to role expectations.

Aligning the Business Planning Framework for the Office of the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Professional Stream budget expenditure, efficiencies to facilitate the effective management and coordination of human, fiscal and material resources to address service requirements.
