This position has flexible working hours. About us Melbourne Private Hospital is a 124 bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit. Our Neurosciences ward is a 30 bed ward including a 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit. This ward cares for patients with complex neurological disorders and conditions. As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include: · Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN · Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs · Act as a role model for Safe Practice · Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy · Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development Essential Criteria: · Authority to Work in Australia · Working with Children check · Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA · Compliance with ACQSHC National standards · Advanced level of clinical skills (desired) · Previous experience in speciality or similar · Commitment to Quality Patient Care · Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Why Healthscope?
