Job SummaryResponsible for coordinating and managing projects related to, but not limited to, portfolios such as Hichrom, clean room, electric vehicles, etc. This would include understand the requirements, identifying important stakeholders across the organization in US/Europe/Asia, liaising with project leaders in AMEA, designing the project plan in consultation with the leaders, organizing meetings across various stakeholders, identifying local project champions, and monitoring progress of the projects to ensure the requisite committed delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide short-term & long-term support in the strategic projects in line with the global business plan and local business needs. To help lab leaders in AMEA to identify portfolio specific requirements and consult with a total solution. Work closely with internal portfolio and business functions to find or develop project implementation capacity with standard work and a mindset of continuous improvement. Extend best in class practices in global Avantor organization to AMEA region Build relations with various functions such as supply chain, marketing, and customer service for the short-term and long-term project success. Develop local project champions to ensure successful implementation at the country level. Develop multiple options to procure products, for example, in a clean room project can we develop sources from Malaysia, China, and India along with American and European sources to reduce costs and ensure smooth supply chain. Any other assignments given by supervisor towards positive contributions to the success of the company.


+ 5+ years of strategy and project management. Sales or business development experience in equipment, consumables, and chemicals is preferred

+ Proven track record of problem-solving skills, people management, and familiarity with root cause analysis to solve business issues

+ Willing to learn new business models, new products, and new industries Life science, pharma, or biotech industries background preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies

+ Passion in liaising with internal and external stakeholders

+ A strong believer of continuous improvement

+ A team-player who is able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

+ Must be highly personable; possess excellent influential leadership and communication skills.

+ Good detail-oriented personality, excellent personal organization and time management skills
