**How will you make an impact?**

Our team is on the lookout for a Senior Finance Analyst. This is a pivotal role where you will strategically business partner with our commercial organization help set, track and align business strategy,

You will make your mark as a senior in the team and look for ways to improve processes whilst driving continuous improvement of the team.

This is a full time position based in Melbourne.

**What will you do?**

Through data analytics and reporting. You will be supporting sales team to optimize time in field, direct them to opportunities, and enable them to track their on-going performance.

This is inclusive of :

+ Finance lead across key business units on driving top line performance

+ Working with the commercial team to present material proforma’s / quotes / pricing & other proposals to maximizing profitability.

+ Support commercial leadership to meet divisional finance reporting and analysis requirements

+ Business forecasting lead at both local and divisional finance and commercial stakeholders driving accuracy, alignment and visibility to risks and opportunities

+ Prepare and present business performance analysis highlighting customer, market, industry segment trends for product lines and territories.

+ Business unit finance lead for developing, aligning and presenting annual revenue and operating expense budget

+ Own price initiative deployment, management and tracking across total business including Customer Price Agreements, List Price increases, quoting, big deal analysis, margin analysis and large project scenarios.

+ Own and drive renewals of Customer pricing agreements

**Budgeting / Annual operating plan (AOP):**

Working with commercial teams to provide robust data and analytics to enable Operating and Strategic planning and implementation. leading planning, preparing, consolidation and reporting of budget.

This is inclusive of, but not limited to:

+ Business unit finance lead for developing, aligning and presenting annual revenue and operating expense budget

+ Facilitate the setup of annual incentive targets partnering commercial leaders

**How will you get here?**

To be successful in this role you will have exceptional communication and stakeholder management experience, with the capability to influence across the business and build strong relationships. You thrive within a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with matrix style structured organization. You are a detail-orientated, analytical thinker with a passion for getting things done accurately.

You will also possess:

+ A relevant finance related qualification e.g. CA, CPA

+ A strong system focus with experience in implementing and managing systems. Experience in CMR, Hyperion, Tm1, SAP is highly desirable.

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Commercial Finance or FP&A role and reporting in a matrix organization

+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial analysis / finance business partnering.

+ Prior proven experience in managing multiple projects from initial planning to completion

+ You’re known for being great to deal with, are a strong communicator and you excel at building relationships

+ You have a high level of confidence in providing analysis and reporting to assist in strategic and commercial decision making.
