IT Service Continuity Lead The Service Continuity Lead will support the ongoing development, testing and uplift of the departments IT service continuity (ITSCM) framework, strengthening organisational resilience and ensuring critical business functions can be restored to an acceptance level of service after a disruption. This role will collaborate with internal and external service providers to ensure continuity across the departments business services and assure that continuity is being designed into systems, processes and ways of working. Requirements Key duties and responsibilities Responsibilities include: Contribute to the development of service continuity and recovery plans, driving consistency and improving the quality of continuity planning. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify ICT services and systems that support critical business processes. Work with the business continuity team to support business impact analysis (BIA) and the assessment of risks. Maintain and improve the Key Business Services (KBS) list Contribute to the planning, design and co-ordination of DRP testing working alongside Service Owners and stakeholders to ensure the appropriate governance of the ITSCM framework. Ensure the appropriate governance of the ITSCM framework. Strengthen our service resilience culture through education of stakeholders. Provision of status reports to the fortnightly service continuity working group and monthly governance forum. Technical skills Strong technical background with experience in recovery strategies and technology. Hands on experience with modern technologies including software-as-service, data analytics, cloud services and service integration. Good knowledge of 24/7/365 enterprise environments and customer-facing platforms. Expertise with process design and process maturity. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and emerging technology best practices. Proven expertise in Service Management & Technology Operations.
