As a part of the Business Transformation team, you’ll help Senior Executives, CEOs and Boards of leading organisations – across the private, public, and social sectors – achieve their full potential through step-changes in their performance and capabilities. Our Business Transformation approach is underpinned by distinctive tools and technologies and led by specialists who work alongside senior executives from strategy through to execution to unlock tangible and sustainable value. We hire experienced professionals from industry, private equity, and the restructuring and professional services ecosystem to work side-by-side with our Firm’s network of industry and functional experts in large-scale transformation programs.We are expanding our Business Transformation team in Australia and are seeking talented and experienced people to join an entrepreneurial high-growth team and be part of an exciting new growth area for PwC. In the Senior Manager/Manager role:You will serve clients with the Business Transformation methodology of leveraging a holistic, execution-centric approach, working alongside some of the world’s top minds in the industry. You will work hand in hand with the decision-makers of our clients, having an actual seat at the table.You will operate as an engagement leader where you will lead the day to day execution of transformation efforts, typically guiding and coaching a team of clients and consultants to help the client achieve new performance highs; you will do this through a series of considered and thoughtful interventions, and in personal coaching settingsYou will be responsible for delivering the right transformation process, integrating it across multiple workstreams, establishing the right mindset based on the latest performance and mobilising the entire business to achieve and sustain value.You will apply all levers to deliver improvements in customer experience, employee experience, revenue and cost. You will have the ability to work with the client to redefine strategy; change operating model and organisation structure; improve effectiveness of the go-to-market team; adjust capital and cash flow management; and more – all to achieve strong performance results. You will leverage a broad range of leadership and influencing styles, ranging from respected manager to motivational senior coach. You will display high energy and resilience in ambiguous and fast-paced contexts. Occasionally, you may even choose to play a short-term role for the client as part of the leadership team.Throughout this process, you will apply our results-oriented and proprietary Business Transformation solutions, which are backed by tools, benchmarks and methodologies.You will also dedicate time to further develop and deepen PwC’s expertise in Business Transformation through business development initiatives and intellectual property & product creationAdditionally, you’ll have the chance to attract and develop outstanding Business Transformation professionals through external hiring as well as developing internal talent.About youBachelor’s degree ideally with an outstanding record of academic achievement; advanced degree is preferred5-12 years of experience with expertise driving rapid and successful operational turnarounds and/ or rapid growth programs across key strategic, revenue, cost and working capital leversA robust understanding of financial and operational levers is required, e.g., business plan modelling, working capital management, financial statement analysisPrior experience as a consultant at a similar level in a professional services firm is highly preferredExcellent analytical and conceptual problem solving; comfort with quantitative analysis and managerial accountingProven record of leadership and experience managing teams (ideally through an operational turnaround of significant step-change) Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organisation and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong management and communication skills.
