About the role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems specialist to develop, build, configure and document key components of a Defence stand-alone network for implementation into a production environment.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assist in the development of a Defence stand-alone network.
- Conducting build and configuration activities necessary for network setup.
- Developing detailed Build Instructions to guide network deployment procedures.
- Providing support and assistance to the Solutions Architect in product design related to network infrastructure.
- Collaborating with the network lead to execute builds, utilizing existing Build Instructions and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Requirements:
- SCCM (System Centre Configuration Manager).
- Windows Server 2016/2019 administration.
- Windows SQL Server management.
- Splunk (log management and analysis).
- McAfee (antivirus and endpoint security solutions).
- Firewall rulesets configuration and management.
- Subnets and VLANs setup and administration
- Windows Server 2016/2019 troubleshooting and maintenance
- Veeam Backup solutions implementation and management
- VMWare Cloud Foundation Products knowledge
- VMWare vCenter administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proactive and reactive.
- Minimum NV2 clearance.
