Based in Sydney, this is an individual contributor role that will be responsible for achieving high level of customer satisfaction in the field of Waters solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for installing and maintaining systems including liquid chromatography and Mass Spectrometry systems. This role requires approximately 20% travel throughout Australia and New Zealand and must demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction as well as excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.  As a member of the Waters Global Service organization, the incumbent will gain fruitful insights into this international service portfolio of a dynamic organization. Perform system Installation, maintenance and support of customer solutions on a range of Waters products ( LC, LC MS, HPLC/ UPLC, SFC, Informatics)Deliver system level training at customer sitesManage customer expectations and lead efforts to resolve open customer calls in the most appropriate and in a time sensitive mannerManage service inventory according to Waters policiesMaintain ”CIT” database on a daily basis to document work performedMaintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers” application demandsStrong Ethics and IntegrityWork with Sales team in respect to  leads and any issues which would impact customer satisfaction or customer loyaltyEnsure that quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all timesDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or a science related fieldMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar positionExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsStrong organizational & problem solving skillsDrive for Results, able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize based on business targetsValid Driver”s License in good standing is mandatoryCompetencies Must possess a strong customer focusInterpersonal savvy, communicate with different expertise levels appropriately and change your approach to meet customers’ needsWorks responsibly and independently but also a keen team player when required Effective time management and organisational skillsSystem level approach to problem solvingAnalytical mindset with a strong drive to resolve open issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world”s leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials and food sciences for nearly 60 years.
