Title: Signalling Design Engineer “We provide solutions for transportation infrastructure that increase capacity and improve efficiency.” As part of KBR’s full suite of Infrastructure Services, we’ve engineered solutions for more than 30 rail projects throughout Australia, in complex urban environments and across the outback.

We’ve designed and constructed passenger and freight lines, built world class interchange stations, completed complex interlocking conversions, modernized rail stabling yards and are leading the ongoing introduction of Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) and European Train Control System (ETCS) across Australia. You’ll be a key member of our dynamic and high performing Signaling team, who are currently delivering a range significant transport infrastructure project s . As part of the signaling team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of work from assessing feasibility, preparing conceptual and detailed design solutions through to the testing and commissioning of the works.

You will have a strong understanding of client needs strive to achieve a high level of client satisfaction. At this level, you will Build KBR’s professional reputation for market leading signaling engineering capabilities whilst demonstrating innovation within the railway signaling environment.

As a Signaling Design Engineer, you will have the following qualifications and experience: + An Accredited degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Computer Systems, Robotic or Electrical related fields. + Practical and theoretical knowledge of railway signaling engineering.

+ Exposure to Signaling Arrangement Plans, Control Tables, Bonding Plans and Cable Running Plans + Experience producing detailed design including Cable Running Plans, Location Design, Bill of Materials, Power Calculations + An understanding of conventional and communications based signaling equipment and systems. + A professional work experience record and pursue professional development opportunities Who are we?
