Wood is seeking the services of an experienced Site Services Manager for the Albemarle Kemerton Project. The Albemarle Kemerton Plant is a world scale, greenfield Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate production plant to be located at the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area approximately 160 km south of Perth, Western Australia, and 17 km north-east of the existing port town of Bunbury. The Albemarle Kemerton Plant will initially comprise of three (3) trains, each producing 20,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate. First product target by 2020. Expansion to five (5) trains will take the ultimate site production to 100,000 tpa by around 2025. Wood has been appointed by Albemarle to implement the Albemarle Kemerton Plant. The role Lead the site services team to ensure all on site support services are properly implemented and conducted in the day to day. The Site Services Manager will be a key part of the site construction team to ensure the establishment and implementation of an effective team / systems and ensure short term and long term activities are well planned and implemented. Key facets of this roll include;Ensure that safety culture and site safety are a number 1 priorityOversee the progressive establishment laydown areas on and off site and of site construction office facilities for over 900 people across multiple locations on siteEstablish (tender, award, implement and manage) site services and minor works contracts for the site facilities and maintenance ensuring optimum value in terms of safety, quality of service and value for moneyManage the successful day to day non-construction interactions (logistics, maintenance / repairs, deliveries / collections, site service providers) around the site Allocate contractor laydown areas and manage their use, safety and upkeepEnsure non construction activities are considered in the broader context of on site planning and are communicated effectively to all partiesProvide leadership to the logistics manager and the logistics team to ensure that set up and systems are effective to ensure timely deliveries on to the construction site and that construction is fully supported7+ Years experience in similar roles on large scale construction projectsEnergetic, communicator who can work around the requirements of multiple customersWell organised, motivated and a team player – must be willing to make best for project decisionsCandidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
