Our team have the honour of showcasing the crystal clear waters, idyllic dive locations, amazing marine and bird life to our guests.Lizard Island is looking for a hands-on Sous Chef to work closely with the Executive Chef in supporting the day to day operations of the kitchen.In partnership you will be responsible for;ensure the consistency, quality and integrity of our productexceed guest expectationsoversee the operations in our large, dynamic kitchenPrepare, direct and deliver a range of al la carte, buffet and function dishes.You will bring to the role;previous experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environmentpassion for food and a flair for creativitydemonstrated success in leading a team to achieve a high level producthigh level knowledge of inventory and financial controlswillingness to mentor and train junior chefshighly motivatedcollaborative leadership style Strong attention to detailThis is a “live-on” remote location role.
