Were seeking a hands-on and driven State Manager NSW, based in Newcastle, to take full ownership of our operations, client satisfaction, and business growth throughout the region. Youll play a critical role in growing our existing business in Newcastle and expanding our footprint across the state. What Youll Be Doing As State Manager, youll be responsible for: Leading and managing the Newcastle operations and cleaning teams with a hands-on approach. Building strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction. Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow our presence in Newcastle and regional NSW. Improving operational processes and driving efficiency across all contracts. Ensuring full compliance with WHS, environmental, and legislative requirements. Supporting the transition and onboarding of new contracts to ensure a smooth start-up. Leading, mentoring, and developing your team to foster a high-performance culture. Collaborating with internal departments to align operations with strategic goals. Managing budgets, monitoring contract P&Ls, and implementing cost controls. Requirements Qualifications and Experience Required Minimum of three years experience in a similar leadership or operational role. High level of dedication, accountability, and professional commitment. Proven track record in business development, client growth, and retention. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills. Demonstrated customer service and/or sales experience. Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Professional presentation and a hands-on leadership style. Willingness to work outside regular hours when required (cleaning industry work is often after hours). Solid financial acumen, including full P&L management.
