The Opportunity:







As the Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day engineering and logistics activities in accordance with our clients’ engineering management system. The project you are supporting delivers integrated cross-class sustainment services, expert advice, and quality asset management.







Responsibilities:





+ Undertake requirements engineering activities.



+ Undertake design activities as part of the preliminary design and detailed design stages.



+ Draft or provide input towards the development of statements of work for acquisition.



+ Conduct Verification and Validation (V&V) activities as part of engineering change management activities.



+ Implement the system safety program and perform safety engineering activities.



+ Develop or provide input towards the development of service requirements as part of maintenance definition.



+ Identify items of supply required for codification and liaise with the logistics office to complete codification and cataloguing.



+ Logistics support analysis.



+ Undertake sparing analysis.



+ Perform technical investigations.



+ Provide engineering support such as SQEP review, engineering advice, and engineering support for trials.









Qualifications, Skills and Experience







Essential:





+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.



+ Minimum 2 years’ experience in Defence industry or similar position.



+ Eligible for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) clearance on relevant ship systems.



+ AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.









Desirable:





+ Experience in Defence Industry.



+ Experience in Marine Systems and structure.
