Applicants must be of Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander descent, have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander cultures and have established links with their local Aboriginal community. An applicant&rsquo;s race is a genuine occupational qualification and exemption is claimed under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, NSW.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor degree) in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling and eligibility for appropriate professional registration and/or association membership.
