An exciting opportunity exists for an ACAT Assessor – Psychologist / Occupational Therapist / Social Worker to deliver Allied Health clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

To function as a General Assessor of the Aged Care Assessment Team according to the Commonwealth guidelines while bringing to the role the particular skills and attributes of the specific profession.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of your discipline services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
  • Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
  • Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.

Remuneration value up to $9733 p.m., comprising salary between $2588.80 – $3805.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (2 temporary full time positions available for five months).
