This role is accountable for planning, developing, implementing and servicing the insurance and risk management needs of Willis Towers Watson clients. Key to the role is developing and articulating a value proposition for our mining clients.
**The Role:**
+ Providing subject matter expertise in the area of policy coverage, contractual and technical issues
+ Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients with a focus on client retention and business development
+ Identifying insurable risks and designing and negotiating appropriate insurance solutions for the client under guidance from the Senior Broker(s) across all line
+ Working directly with clients to identify insurable risks and formulate loss mitigation strategies to optimise property insurance coverage
+ Creating and validating risk engineering reports for current and potential clients
+ Work directly with the client to formulate a risk and insurance cost optimisation strategy
+ Developing and maintaining business relationships with new and existing clients and insurers
+ Manage the company profile with property insurers and underwriters by identifying and maintaining strategic relationships with key markets
+ Ensure the client’s risk management and insurance broking objectives are actioned to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
**The Requirements:**
+ Proven experience in an insurance or legal capacity
+ Bachelors Degree or other relevant qualification
+ Business and financial acumen
+ Understanding of general insurance products (ANZIIF qualifications or working towards ANZIIF qualifications desirable)
+ Tier 1 qualification or commitment to obtaining this qualification
+ Previous experience in providing advice to and training staff on technical and complex risk issues
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong time management skills
