Due to internal promotion we are looking for an Account Manager in our Residential team., you will improve the profitability of your regional territory by developing and fostering new and existing partnerships. You will drive the growth of key customers and new business opportunities to achieve profit and growth for PPG!

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and improving the customer service propositions in line with our brand strategies
  • Leading, maintaining and growing a portfolio of key trade accounts
  • Collaborating with trade applicators, stores, commercial and residential builders. On occasion Architects, Strata’s and specifiers
  • Achieving sales, growth and profit targets
  • Delivering high level customer relationship management that promotes service excellence and customer retention.
  • Some regional travel required
  • Qualifications

  • Previous Account Management experience preferably within the building materials market (previous experience in trade or Paint industries is desired but not crucial.)
  • Working alone and prioritising your own day is how you work best, but you will also be happy to engage and work with your team to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and PPG!
  • Excellent communications skills – you will easily establish trust and make people feel comfortable with your easy going approach.
  • You will be open, honest and be authentic in your dealings
  • A proven record in building new relationships, or accounts and growing existing business
  • Current Driver’s license
