As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and support to assist members to achieve their personal health, fitness and wellness goals.
  • Providing exercise advice to clients living with disability or chronic/complex conditions.
  • Communicating and working efficiently and collaboratively with the team to ensure best practice & integrated client care.
  • promoting the benefits of Fernwood, and any additional services available in the club suited to that member.

About you … 

 

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

 

Essential skills & competencies:

  • Hands-on, positive, and can-do attitude
  • Punctual, diplomatic and sincere with strong team focus
  • A natural motivator
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Be computer literate (including basic Word, Excel, and Outlook skills)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Driven by achieving results for their clients, themselves, and the company
  • Available early mornings, evenings and weekends

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation
  • Working with Vulnerable People’s Card
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Must be registered with ESSA
  • Some experience working with NDIS clients would be desirable
