Position DetailsAbout usThe Strategic Communication Branch (SCB) delivers communication services on behalf of our department’s business units to inform and educate the community about departmental policies, programs and legislation across the justice and community safety system.The Portfolio Coordination and Delivery team develops and implements communication strategies, providing operational support, project management and monitoring and oversight of strategy implementation. It also provides a crucial stakeholder interface into the branch, receiving and allocating work according to departmental priorities.About the roleAs the Adviser, Portfolio Coordination and Delivery, you will provide end-to-end management of communication projects and programs, ensuring activities and products meet organisational goals and are delivered on time and within budget.Your typical duties will include:providing advice on communication requirements across a range of projectsdeveloping and implementing communication strategies and campaigns, and managing their implementationworking closely with other SCB teams to deliver a broad range of communication materials, content and servicescollaborating with a range of partners and stakeholders, including project managers, executives, ministerial offices and other stakeholderspreparing reports, briefings, procurement and contract documents.This is a fixed term opportunity until 30 September 2020, based in the Melbourne CBD.About youAs our ideal candidate, you will have:experience in communication strategy development and implementation, including an ability to write for different audiences across media and channelsproject management skills and experiencehighly developed written communication with the ability to confidently produce a range of complex communication material.How to applyPlease click the Apply button on this advertisement.
