  • We are seeking motivated and flexible Allied Health professionals to join the Allied Health team providing high quality care services to patients in the Yorke & Northern Region. You will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services appropriate to the needs of the local community. This will be achieved by working as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, and utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. Applying Primary Health Care and Community Development Principles to the planning and delivery of services, you will provide allied health services in various settings across the cluster, including individual, group and population health initiatives. Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community. Being part of Yorke and Northern Local Health Network means you will be supported both personally and professionally, can take advantage of education and training opportunities, will have access to flexible working hours and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.

You must hold a recognised qualification in either Podiatry, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology or Social Work, and be registered with AHPRA and eligible for membership of the relevant professional association. With experience in managing and prioritising a personal caseload, you will be capable of providing straightforward clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities. You will be committed to supporting consumers through the Patient Journey, providing effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.

The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role. Job ref: 721277
