Analyst – 6 Month Contract Financial Crime Compliance MUFG Bank, Ltd About role The Analyst will manage, investigate and log justifications relating to Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) alerts generated by the Bank and pertaining to customers in Australia and New Zealand. The Analyst will help to develop and implement a best in class TMS alert monitoring function within the Oceania Compliance team, utilizing and adapting alert monitoring capabilities obtained through experience at other leading banks. Job Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to): ·Day to day Transaction Monitoring and identifying any potential suspicious or fraudulent activity ·Analyse data from customer and financial institutions to identify any fraudulent activity ·Conducting Enhanced Due Diligence ·Ensure that AML Compliance risks are adequately identified, assessed, monitored, controlled and reported as required ·Support and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as Managers and Senior Investigators ·Promoting awareness of TMS requirements ·Preparation of analytics and reports to identify, monitor and track TMS alert outcomes ·Liaison with FCOA and GFCD to ensure timely, accurate and consistent reporting ·Assist with any other tasks/projects or reports as required from time to time ·Assist with timely financial crime related organisation-wide reporting and risk assessment ·Ensure all AML/TMS processes comply with all relevant Bank rules and regulations and any other legal requirements Required Experience and Education ·Experience in a TMS role at a leading financial institution ·A good understanding of Australian AML/CTF laws and regulatory requirements ·Good communication and interpretation skills with ability to build good working relationships with internal stakeholders ·Ability to work well under pressure in meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment ·A strong sense of teamwork and readiness to take up challenging responsibilities Our Culture MUFG fosters a highly professional, supportive work environment that enables our employees to help maximize our customers’ prosperity.
