We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for to take on a Service Technician Apprenticeship to join our Team out of our Lavington, Albury branch.

About the role:

The successful apprentice undertaking this role will complete their certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology encompassing all facets of service and repair across our complete mobile equipment range.

The role will see you gain a broad knowledge base of skills across all mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components as well as all associated sub-systems including undercarriage, track assemblies, steering, transmission and braking systems from our John Deere and Vermeer product range. Some of your duties will include diagnostics, servicing, repairs and component changes from small skid steers through to our largest Forestry harvesters all while putting health and safety at the forefront of everything we do.

You will bring the following skills and be able to meet the requirements of the role by:

  • Participating and following directions for all on-the-job training
  • Attending the training organisation to participate in off-the-job training as scheduled
  • Maintaining a Training Record Book and ensure that it is updated weekly
  • You must be enthusiastic and reliable
  • You must have good communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus and dedicated work ethic.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A current and valid driver’s licence or in the process of gaining a licence
  • And above all, you must be willing to learn and enjoy what you are doing
