About the role
The role of Strategic Asset Manager is responsible for the strategic asset direction of Compass’s Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio including managing new development projects and planned upgrades, cyclical and responsive maintenance on Compass’s existing portfolio. The role will ensure that the properties are maintained to Compass’ asset standard, compliant with SDA standards, whilst providing person centred service delivery to all SDA residents, families and external stakeholders.

Essential Selection Criteria
To be considered for the role, you must address these criteria in your application.

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities, asset and project management;
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and co-ordination of planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance including fire compliance;
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing and quality assuring contractors
  • Experience in strategic use of funds to prioritise selected property upgrades;
  • Experience with asset management systems;
  • Experience with reporting on outcomes and property condition scores;
  • Well-developed and effective interpersonal communication skills;

You will bring to this role your ability and experience in:

  • Ability to work independently and/or with limited supervision;
  • Ability to make strategic decisions;
  • Demonstrated highly developed organisation skills and the ability to undertake tasks independently;
  • Experience in asset management services;
  • Current drivers’ licence
