Asset Reliability Engineer-Fixed Plant
CSG Talent is working with a leading natural resources company, who currently have a permanent vacancy for an Asset Reliability Engineer -Fixed Plant to join them in Tasmania. This is residential Mon-Fri role.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Design and deliver strategies to create value, reduce cost and embed maintenance as a profession to support people to operate at their best. We achieve this by creating best-practice strategies across equipment classes, and making sure we are doing the right maintenance work to maximise reliability, availability and equipment life at efficient cost.
Asser Reliability Engineer:
delivering best practice preventative maintenance strategies for fixed plant equipment
deploying maintenance strategies in SAP, and
designing and deploying solutions to known issues on site (under performing equipment) using known reliability approaches, such as RCAs, downtime analysis etc.
Support the team by:
We are looking for people that are subject matter experts in various fields who can bring a degree of technical excellence to the project. We are particularly interested in people with subject matter expertise relating to the following:
Specific fixed plant equipment: Balanced machines (mechanical and electrical)Chutes & binsClassified Plant (cranes and pressure vessels)Drive equipment (motors, gearboxes, couplings etc.)CrushersVibrating ScreensWet equipment (pumps, cyclones, spirals etc.)Infrastructure
SAP and best practise master data
Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification combined with demonstrated experience in asset management
3 + years previous experience in Asset Integrity, Reliability and Maintenance for minerals, Oil &Gas, Petrochemical, processing plants and fixed plant equipment, essential
Proven track record in liaising with key stakeholders
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and disciplines;
Experience in Reliability, Engineering and Technical advancement of the fixed plant equipment.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (i.e. electrical, mechanical and structural) to solve complex problems;
Develop and contribute to the delivery of initiatives which support priorities for continuous improvement for both technical and equipment efficiency aspects;
Collaborate with relevant departments, suppliers, consultants and contractors to support technical improvements and shut downs; and
Support the integrated delivery of projects by the site Engineering team, asset projects or major projects groups;
A proven commitment to safety, reflected in consistently safe work practices;
