Manage the integrity of client financial reports including budgets, balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow statements to meet client timelines
Manage the client and internal audit processes to ensure requests for documentation are provided in-line with audit timelines
Monitor the accounting system to ensure it is accurate and meets monthly timelines
Manage cash flow and bank accounts to ensure there are sufficient funds to meet company obligations
Ensure the General Ledger accounts are accurate, up to date and well presented in a timely manner
Manage the Accounts Receivable function to ensure client and customer payment obligations are met
Oversee the Accounts Payable function to ensure payments are made in accordance with agreed terms
Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager, your role will also encompass providing support to regional teams by training new employees in company systems. You will be monitoring the accuracy of transactions in client reporting and co-ordinate reports for approval in a timely manner whilst also supporting the Accounts function by completing other Ad hoc tasks or projects that may be assigned from time to time.
Required skills & Experience:
Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or similar is essential
At least 2 years experience in an accounting role
CPA Qualified or studying towards CPA qualification is preferred
Knowledge and experience in land management or similar
Understanding of Client agency relationship
An ability to problem solve and work towards a common goal.
Consistent attention to detail required
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel, access)
Understanding of land management industry related software packages preferred
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
A demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and staff across Australia.
Working as an integral part of the Accounting team, you will be relied upon to deliver timely outcomes on a consistent basis.
