An excellent Federal Government opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Program Manager to work on a Women and Technology initiative.

This is a daily rate contract until end June 2021.

About the Role

The program launched in 2016 and aims to empower women to manage technology risks and abuse, and facilitate their positive participation online. As the Assistant Manager working as part of the program team you will be responsible for development and delivery of targeted training and resources to support women who are experiencing high levels of cyber abuse including the women influencing tech spaces (WITS) initiative.

Responsibilities include;

  • Manage the update of existing material and undertake development of new and customised resources and training material, this will includeAudit the existing and external content and conducting a gap analysisDevelop a content production schedule, to ensure key elements of the initiative are implemented
  • Develop a comprehensive stakeholder engagement plan to build and maintain key relationships across, government and non-government agencies and leaders representing diverse communities and professional organisations
  • Deliver training and awareness-raising presentations to diverse audiences
  • Work with any specialist agencies to develop resources and tools
  • Manage all required procurement activity
  • Produce high quality written work including, in-depth reports and briefings for senior management and government stakeholders
  • Help shape the marketing and promotion of the programs
  • Work collaboratively with teams members, sharing your expertise to achieve the desired outcomes for the initiatives
  • To Be Considered

    To be considered for this role you must have;

  • Experience working with diverse groups in the Australian community
  • Experience in design and delivery of training and education resources or guidance
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Understanding of Commonwealth procurement policies and procedures, and capacity to apply these in leading procurement exercises and managing suppliers
  • Understanding of online safety issues, in particular those impacting women
  • Experience in project management, including establishing clear plans, monitoring project progress and seeing projects through to completion
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write policy documents, reports and briefings to a high standard
  • Experience delivering presentations to specialist audiences
