Assistant State Manager – SA/NT/WA

The Role Reporting to the General Manager Operations, we are looking for an inspirational retail leader to take our SA/NT/WA shopping experience to the next level.
    You will be a key ingredient in the Supermarkets transformational journey and relish the opportunity to identify opportunities to grow our business across the region. Your role is to partner closely with the State General Manager and Operations Managers to collaborate with the State Executive Team as well as cross functional teams. Together you’ll bring an end to end mindset to all of our strategic initiatives. As a key member of our state Leadership Team you will work together to create a great place to work and better our customer experience time after time.     Your leadership will be a critical ingredient in our cultural transformation and help us establish our ways of working to keep things simple, ensure our teams feel empowered, free to contribute and to put our customers first. You will have:

  • Large scale retail (big box) multi-site senior leadership experience
  • Supermarkets retail experience ideally
  • A relationships focus and strong stakeholder management experience
  • Financial acumen and the ability to analyse information, identify trends and patterns
  • Proven change management and implementation experience
  • A strong track record of inspiring and leading large teams and working at scale and complexity
  • Flexibility to travel across the region
