About the role

The Department of Premier & Cabinet is excited to present the opportunity for an Associate Director to join the Change & Engagement Branch. The purpose of the role is to support priority projects and change related functions including the development and delivery of internal communications and events to strengthen corporate initiatives and drive high levels of staff engagement in the work and culture of the Department.

Clerk Grade 11/12. Package includes base salary ($128,089 – $148,134) plus superannuation and leave loading.

  • a successful background developing and delivering strategic corporate communications and change related functions
  • demonstrated experience overseeing the development of a range of innovative communications and engagement tools, materials and events
  • outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • exemplary written and verbal communications skills
  • a continual business improvement skillset to develop better outcomes
  • excellent planning and organisation skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.

About the team

The Change and Engagement Branch plans and delivers ongoing and time sensitive strategic projects and change processes to drive Cluster, Department and Group performance improvements along with providing high quality support services to the Premier and Ministry.
