If the answer is yes, we are looking for Apps Engineers like you to work with us in FastTrack for Azure, a part of Azure Customer Experiences Team in Microsoft.

Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is a growing Engineering team of customer obsessed & passionate individuals that drive positive customer outcomes and experiences. FastTrack for Azure (FTA) is a customer success service to help customers confidently onboard to Azure and getting them on the right track to “build it right, architect it right, the first time”. FTA takes a solution-centric approach and provides customers with Engineering resources, best practices, tools, and resources that drive Azure usage.

**Responsibilities**

As a customer engineer, you will primarily be working with customers in providing guidance & sharing best practices to ensure reliable, scalable, secured and cost optimized deployment of their applications on Microsoft Azure. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

+ Directly engage with customers and partners to validate newly designed Solution and existing Solutions for migration & modernisation, partner with other Customer Engineers to provide end to end guidance

+ Accelerate the customer projects to production

+ Continuously learn new technology

+ Partner with FTA Program Managers in helping them scope pre-qualified complex projects

+ Provide knowledge and insight to build the customers’ confidence.

+ Identify common patterns from your engagements and work with a thriving FTA community of Engineers to share best practices & learnings at scale

+ Drive product improvement by capturing product-related feedback that the relevant Product teams can triage

+ Contribute to documentation through sample scripts, blogs, architecture best practices.

+ Be a leader for junior engineers across Asia

+ Contribute to the broader FTA team across Asia

**Qualifications**

Skills listed below can help in being successful in this role, we don’t expect you to have all of them and we seek individuals who are excited about this role and love to learn what’s required.

**Technical Experience**

+ Overall cloud fundamentals such as governance, monitoring & security with respect to App Technologies

+ Design & deploy high level solution architectures including basics of infrastructure & applications on cloud or an understanding how application components fits into the overall solution

+ Experience with and ability to lead customers with one or more of the following:

+ Application modernisation using Azure technologies such as (App Service, Storage, ASE, CDN)

+ Containers on Azure (AKS, ACS)

+ Integration using Azure Integration services (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Aps, Event Grid etc)

+ Application Security on Azure (WAF, FrontDoor, Private Networking, Sentinel)

+ OSS on Azure

+ Java

**Customer Facing Experience**

+ Creating & validating requirements and guiding architectural decision making with customers

+ Effectively driving recommendations and land priorities across customers, partners, senior executives across organizational boundaries

+ Leading projects, consulting and/or delivery experience

+ Leading technical conversations, bringing in & leveraging relevant technical expertise from other teams

+ Working with enterprise customers on cloud specific data solutions, application development & deployment

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
