Joining our newly opened hotel, our **Bar Supervisor** at **DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront** will be a beverage enthusiast who is passionate about delivering unsurpassed bar experience within our stunning Rooftop Bar, **18 Knots** \. To thrive in this role you will have hands\-on experience supervising a passionate bar team, exceptional knowledge of cocktails, have an outstanding customer focus and be highly visible throughout service\.
Reporting to the Bar Manager, key responsibilities of this role include:
+ Ensure our guest’s expectations are surpassed on every occasion\.
+ Act as our Head Bartender, be present on the floor, hands\-on and involved in service\.
+ Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure the quality of product served\.
+ Assist to monitor inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock is maintained\.
+ Oversee cleanliness of team members and physical bar area, paying special attention to possible health hazards\.
+ Resolve guest complaints promptly and according to company guidelines\.
+ Act as a coach, mentor and leader for the bar teams\.
+ Assist the Bar Manager to oversee the day\-to\-day operation of the bar within relevant legislation regarding service of alcohol and licensing\.
Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and competencies:
+ Previous bar supervisory experience within dynamic and fast\-paced environments\.
+ A passion for hospitality, up to date with the latest industry trends and the ability to drive new initiatives\.
+ Exceptional grooming standards appropriate for a full\-service environment\.
+ Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings and late nights as required\.
+ Strong product knowledge and advanced stakeholder management skills\.
+ Hold an Approved Manager’s Licence or be willing to obtain before commencement\.
+ Completed tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management is desirable\.
