    The Be You National Operations Manager is responsible for management of the State and Territory teams in the delivery of the national mental health in schools framework, Be You.

    The Be You team delivers an interactive framework of evidenced-based information, professional advice and support to primary and secondary schools. This framework, through continuous professional development of educators, promotes optimal social and emotional health and wellness in schools.

    The Be You National Operations Manager is responsible for the State and Territory teams. This is a substantial workforce, assigned to States/Territories under the leadership of the State/Territory Manager. The position also holds joint responsibility for the Be You strategy in alignment with the headspace Schools Business Manager and under the direction of the Head of headspace Schools (hS).

    The role is a key senior appointment and has regular interaction with the headspace Executive and other key stakeholders across the Health and Education sectors.

    The Be You National Operations Manager is a highly experienced and innovative professional, with proven knowledge and proficiency in managing services to support young people.

    With qualifications in health or education, the incumbent is familiar and connected to school systems across Australia, and has experience in leading and motivating teams to meet performance deliverables.

    To be successful, you will possess exceptional leadership, project management and program management skills. Your personal style and highly developed interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders internal and external to the organisation.

    This role requires intra state and interstate travel.
