THE ROLE

With over 30 years’ experience delivering quality OSHC services, Camp Australia is always looking at opportunities to expand the school day by ensuring that learning lives beyond the classroom and feeds into our OSHC services, and our Penrith service is no exception.

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and devoted Coordinator to join our ever-growing service. As a service coordinator you are responsible for providing a stimulating and engaging program to our
school aged children in your own dedicated OSHC space. You will become an active member of the school community, building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders who use and support this service

YOU WILL NEED

  • Mentor, lead and guide your team of educators
  • Develop and maintain a fun, safe and compliant program
  • Daily planning and organisation of the service’s activities
  • Supervise and support a group of primary aged children
  • Preparation and serving of healthy food options
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community
  • Nurture a positive environment for learning
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Completed, or be studying towards an ACECQA approved Childcare Diploma level qualification or Bachelor equivalent
  • Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Qualification (HLTAID004) specific for childcare settings (or willing to obtain)
  • Availability to work a split shift day Monday – Friday 6:30-8:40am and 2:30-6:00pm
