Our client and role:
Our client based within WA Government are seeking the skills of an experienced Building Services Engineer to help organise and oversees testing and commissioning of new and established installations to ensure safety and compliance with applicable Regulatory requirements on our clients multi-site environment.
Providing professional technical guidance, advice and corporation to internal and external stakeholders on matters.
Investigating and reporting on all incidents including, Incident Fault Reporting System (IFRS), and Site Safe databases.
Preparing Maintenance Strategies and contributing to the overall Maintenance Plan for the Facilities & Infrastructure Team.
Reviewing and approving contractors and consultant’s proposed designs and modifications of systems for new and existing building services infrastructure.
Ensuring all new designs and modifications of systems are in accordance and compliance with Australian Standards.
Managing high value and high risk projects, coordinating and planning in house teams and/or contractors undertaking design and/or construction of installations within our clients network..
Monitoring and directing for compliance to approved specifications, budgets, time and quality.
Reviewing technical specifications and tender documents.
Essential experience required:
Strong commercial background working as a Building Services Engineer ideally working within a large scale, multi site commercial environment.
Extensive background in preparing complex maintenance strategies to support, large infrastructure environments.
Experience in working to strict compliance registrations, in particular AS/NZS 3000:(latest version) as well as Wiring Rules.
