Your new role:
As a Business Development Manager your main role is to identify, create and convert new business opportunities. It will also include an element of Account Management requiring you to form and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the market. You will also be required to utilise Salesforce to manage your client base whilst gaining useful insights into their business functions and strategies.
Identify new and enhanced business opportunities
Obtain client meetings with key stakeholders and discovering insights for sales purposes
Present proposed sales solutions to clients
Utilise Salesforce as the CRM to manage your sales pipeline
Co-create and implement broker marketing plans
What you will need to succeed:
To be successful in this position you should have:
Previous Business Development experience sourcing new clients and relationships
A true ‘hunter’ mentality when it comes to sales
Capabilities consulting and presenting to clients
Relevant insurance and risk management experience
Business acumen and knowledge of operations in insurance or claims market
Effective communication, negotiation and influencing capabilities
Approachable, emotionally intelligent and motivating
What you’ll get in return:
On offer to you is:
A generous remuneration package between $110,000 – $130,000 plus super (depending on experience)
