Bytewize is seeking highly experienced IT professionals to fill contract and ongoing employment positions that are available within our company. Successful candidates will be employed by Bytewize to provide ongoing technical support services to the Department of Education (Department) through the Technical Support to Schools Program (eduSTAR.TSS).
These are not entry-level positions, all candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience AND previous experience within the eduSTAR program OR extensive experience within the education sector is essential for consideration.
The roles and responsibilities consist of managing the IT infrastructure within Departments schools. Administration of school network and server infrastructure and providing ICT support services to both the staff and students in large ICT based learning environments.

Special requirements for the role:
Three six-month full-time equivalent Specialist Technician positions are advertised under this vacancy to provide additional technical support to schools in the North West Victoria Region – Rural (remote and onsite) and to support some pipeline technology projects. Locations for these three positions will be Swan Hill, Mildura and Bendigo.

The North-West Victoria Region – Rural covers a large area and includes key regional towns and cities including Mildura, Swan Hill, Echuca, Ouyen and Bendigo. The successful applicant will need to be willing to be based in the Swan Hill region
