The Role:  

This role sits within the Regulatory Capital Reporting space. This is a high performing team that works closely across key treasury transformation projects across the business. This team provides advice and analysis to support decisions specific to the Group’s capital, funding, and liquidity position. In this position you will be assisting in the implementation of APRA policies and regulations across the bank. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • The oversight of Capital Adequacy and Credit Risk calculations
  • Development of Policies and Frameworks in response to the APRA Standards 
  • Documentation of analysis applied in the regulatory returns
  • Analysis and testing on new reporting standards
  • Stakeholder Management with Seniors Management across the Group
  • Development of Policies and Frameworks in response to the APRA Standards 
  • The Person:  

    This is an opportunity for a junior manager to develop and maintain a deep understanding of internal and regulatory capital requirements and assist Senior Management with strategic decisions surrounding capital. The ideal candidate will come from a regulatory background within Financial Services or Banking. Experience in Capital Reporting is a preference but not a necessity. To be successful for this role, the following requirements are necessary: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or similar
  • CA/CPA Qualified 
  • Experience in accounting for a Financial Services Firm or Bank
  • An eagerness to work in a fast paced and progressive working environment
  • Stakeholder Management experience with Senior Management 
  • Strong written and communication skills
