Acoustic has been formed from IBM”s Marketing Software unit to form the only independent, full scale marketing cloud entirely dedicated to marketers’ needs. We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager to take control of managing, maintaining and extending the high value partner ecosystem for Acoustic in ANZ. The role will cover Resellers, GSIs, Agencies and other Influencers, balancing ‘Sell To’ with ‘Sell Through’ focus and is rewarded based on performance against Channel Revenue targets and associated metrics. The goal of this position is to manage, maintain and extend a network of autonomous market making Business Partners that can drive incremental Revenue and Signings for Acoustic solutions. This will involve the construction and expansion of ecosystems which include delivery partners, ISVs, DMAs (Digital Marketing Agencies) and other Influencers all around market making transacting Partners.Work closely with Sales Leadership on building the strategy and clear plan for the channel growth objectives for ANZDrive and be proactive in the acquisition of new partners, driving recruitment and expansion plans for ANZ, whilst identifying ideal partner network through definition and qualification criteriaManage the ongoing relationship of existing partners; Support the execution of enablement programs required for Partners to better sell and support Acoustic solutionsSupport the execution of partner service training and certification to supplement service capabilitiesManage the channel activities based on a defined set of Partner goals – revenue, BPOI, skills, account planningProvide management reporting of channel activity, pipeline, lead flow, opportunity status and channel bookings (direct and influenced) across ANZDefine, manage and refine on-boarding processes for new business partnersProactively identify new leads through supporting the creation and execution of lead generation strategies, campaigns and go-to-market plans with key partners (e.g. joint field events, webinars, whitepapers, etc.) Run regular events to maintain the interest and engagement of the partner communityDrive increased revenues as a result of leads generated and opportunities closed by partnersProvide sales support to the sales team during partner dealsAct as an advocate on behalf of assigned partnersUnderstand partner”s goals and objectives and what will make them successfulNetworking; cultivate personal relationships within all levels of the partners organization (specifically sales, account managers, and management)                                           QualificationsDemonstrable experience in a channel, partnerships or commercial/sales role preferably within the SaaS Marketing Technology industryA strong understanding of the Martech, Digital Marketing, Vendor ecosystem and landscapeDemonstrable experience of building Channel strategies and achievement in driving partnership growth networksStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders, across the business internally and externally with partners. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all levels of management and staff is a key priority in this role.Ability to understand and describe the Acoustic Solution coherently and efficiently describe the value to existing and new business partnersAbility to work towards personal and company goals and targets, in a fast-paced ever-changing environmentPrior experience of using CRM platforms for reporting, updating partner sales funnels and forecast accuracyBachelor”s degree or equivalent practical experience.    Company OverviewThe #1 independent marketing cloud.
