Sodexo is currently seeking an experienced qualified Chef to work at one of our Education client sites in a full time capacity, commencing immediately.
Our Chef’s along with the extended service team contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for students, staff and site management ensuring customer service excellence
Your role will include but is not limited to hands-on service for bulk and or buffet style cooking for breakfast, dinner, pastries, crib and on some occasions will require you to organise functions. A solid knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures and safe work practices is imperative.
To be successful in this role you have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent and have previous bulk cooking experience. You will have bags of stamina, be fit and healthy and have a clean and professional presentation. It is essential you can work effectively in teams, have a keen eye for detail. You must have a positive can-do attitude, outstanding customer service and communication skills.
It is essential that you are flexible and able to work across the weekend from time to time.
